Before knowing the LORD, I used to live my life driven by fear - Fear of failure, Fear of not being good enough, Fear of not being liked, Fear of poverty, Fear of natural disasters. But this verse is one of many that reminds me that the all-powerful God will always be there for me. He will not send me anything in my way if He thinks I can't handle it. Life is liberating when I place my trust in God.

When I was working in Finance, I found myself unmotivated sometimes and wondered if this career was right for me. This verse encourages me to continue to do the best I can not just for myself, but also for our Heavenly Father. You may not see the purpose of your work, but He is laying the foundation in you for what is to come.

My fear of failure had stop me from converting ideas into actions numerous times. But this verse gave me an added confidence to start knowing that God is my partner. When I commit my plans to Him, He is the source that gives me the discipline to see things to completion. If whatever I do aligns with His will, I know He will work in miraculous ways. I find comfort and encouragement in knowing that.
